JD for Copy editor cum Writer and Sr Copy Editor cum Writer for TOI Entertainment (Two positions based in Noida)

A graduate/post graduate in English and journalism/mass communication with an excellent vocabulary, grammar and proof-reading skills. Excellent command over English; both written and spoken language skills mandatory.

Experience of between two years (minimum) to four years (maximum) in a similar role at an online news/content site, magazine or newspaper.

Have and/or develop acceptable domain expertise to be able to analyse and/or write about various aspects of bollywood, hollywood news and events etc.

Review and edit copies as per TOI style guide, keeping in mind grammar and punctuation, and be able to deliver/upload a CLEAN final copy with zero errors and unaided.

File stories in CMS as per the laid down processes in order to update TOI Entertainment.

Look after the site and manage the regular content flow and update various sections. 

Maximizing traffic on the site with good exclusive and value-added stories along with proper tagging and SEO guidelines.

Manage and boost the social media presence of TOI Entertainment in consultation with Social Media and Product Teams.
